I'm back! It's been a whirlwind of a few weeks. The baby is here! I have a new sister named Lillian, or as I will refer to her on here, Baby L. She was born on June 30th at 11:03am by c-section. She's a curious little thing who makes a lot of noise and smells, and prevents me from getting good naps. I kept thinking they were going to take her back, but evidently she is here for good. I can't say I'm thrilled with the change, but I am adapting. I am told I am her protector, and I am taking my job very seriously...
Here we are having a little moment together. I guess she is alright...
Unfortunately when my human cousins were visiting they broke my favorite camera, so I have not been able to take photos of my own. I am so bummed. I promise to post more of my photography as soon as I get my camera back up and running. In the meantime, here is one that the humans took of Baby L. Can't wait to take my own!

A Change Is Gonna Come
Sorry for the lack of posts recently. My secretary D has really gotten behind. I should dock her pay! Check out this photo I took of her just laying around on the couch today with her ever expanding belly. The nerve. It does make a nice head rest for me though. And they tell me it will be over soon and I will be a sister in the next week or two!
At least since she was working from home today I was able to drag her around the block a few extra times and got to take a few pics along the way...
Not my most exciting work (or walk), but every walk is a fun walk if it's not raining, especially bonus walks in the middle of the day! Wish me luck with this whole sibling thing. I'll try to visit soon!

The First Cut is the Deepest
After seeing myself all scraggly in that last post, I knew it was that time of year...
Summer cut time! It's super short now, like it used to be when I lived in LA. Not so fun to get done, but it feels so nice rubbing around on the grass!
I'm one happy photographer dog! Now it's off to take more pictures...

Paws For A Cause - Part II
Here are some more photos I took at the event I went to last weekend to raise money for shelter pups. There were games, a parade, and even paw-lympics, but my favorite was the paw reader. She could actually tell the future! How does she do that?
The last photo was from when everyone was gathered to listen to the live band. They were so good, and made up of all teenagers!

I had so much fun I smiled the whole way home!

Paws for a Cause - Part I
I went to a fantastic event today hosted by the Jersey Animal Coalition to raise money for shelter dogs like me. D and I were both busy taking pictures with our cameras. Here are of some of mine...
That second to last one is my buddy Charlie. He has not been feeling so great, but made it out anyway to support the cause. I even caught him with his tongue out!
It was so much fun, and they raised lots of money which is the best part! More photos to come...

Spring Awakening
In honor of the first day of spring (yipee!), A and I decided to do some yard work to remove all of the remnants of winter.
There were loads of dead leaves all around.
So I pointed out where there were.
And he raked them all up per my instructions.
And now we have beautiful leaf free yard for me to pee all over! Isn't spring grand?

My Own Home
Seven years ago this week, I was shivering and pooping in a cage in a shelter in Los Angeles when D walked in and gave me a chance at a new life. Our home has changed several times, and we've gained the most wonderful human, A, and now have a baby on the way (though I'm still hoping it will be a puppy), but I'm happy wherever we are, as long as we're together.
Here are some photos I took of my home recently. It's bright and warm (especially on the heater), and gives me lots of room to run around, and bestest of all, it's full of love!
Forgive the mushiness, I know it's not my usual tone. I just get a bit sentimental this time of year. Thanks to all the other humans who have given shelter dogs like me a home. Please support your local shelter whenever you can!

Smurf a Happy Tune
Here is the first photo I have ever taken of my other obsession besides photography. Isn't it a beauty?
The humans call it "hydrant," but I just call it love. So many wonderful smells! Changing with each walk! What could be better??

Into the woods
Here are some photos I took when I finally ventured out after last week's crazy storm.
I'm so glad it's finally melting. So far it's beautiful out this weekend! Could this mean spring is on the way?
