I Put a Spell on You

The pumpkins I picked out last weekend have transformed and now look like a ghost and skull! Here's a photo I took of them today. Don't they look cool?

I'm all dressed up and ready to bark at trick-or-treaters! A-Rod who? It's A-DOG all the way! Go Yanks!

There are six black cats on my steps! Aaaah! The nerve!

Happy howl-o-ween! Stay away from the chocolate!

Celebrate

Today is D's birthday, and in honor of the occasion she got some cool new photo toys from me and A. Now we have the beginnings of a photo studio in our house! I can't use the equipment myself, but I get to be the helper, and the very first model! Here are some of the test shots...

I may have gotten a bit distracted by my favorite toy, Baby, but I can't help it. I heart Baby...

Being a model is hard work!

Tyra Banks, watch out! I could teach you a thing or two about being fierce!

The Great Pumpkin

Guess what I got to do this weekend? I got to go pick out pumpkins! Check me out...

Here are some of the photos I took during my adventure...

Then we brought them home and lined them up in front of my house. Don't they look nice?

I for sure picked out the best pumpkins ever! I love this time of year!

Love Is Not a Contest

I figured this would be as good a time as any to enter my first contests ever! These are not photos I've taken, but they are all me.

First, here are photos for Smiley-Fest at the fabulous Dory's Backyard.

These shots (one of which you may have seen once before) were from when I was on vacation in August at Long Beach Island on the Jersey Shore. It was the first time I was ever aloud to go on vacation with the family because they rented a dog friendly house. I got to sunbathe on the porch and put my face through a hole making me look like a real human! So weird, but so much fun! It was a week long smiley-fest...

And here is an entry for Addie's k9 costume contest. It's me as a meerkat for the digital editing category! I used to love that show Meerkat Manor on Animal Planet. I don't know why they canceled it.

It's almost Howloween! Can't wait to get dressed up and bark at all those kids in costumes!

There's a Light

D and I had a fun girls night while A was out of town. She danced around with lights and I took the photos. Then we cuddled and watched girly movies for hours and hours.

It was lots of fun, but I am glad to have him home. He takes me on the best walks and always gives me extra chicken if I look at him and blink my eyes or tilt my head. What a sucker. But he's my sucker.

Look Both Ways

This is another photo I took in town, just before crossing the street at one of our main intersections. I love taking photos in town, I just need to remember not to get lost in the photo taking and to look both ways. Well, that's what I'm supposed to do, but the truth is I generally look one way, and that way is down. It just smells so good around there, I can't help myself. But at least my humans always remember to look both ways, so that's just as good, right? Good humans.

They deserve a treat.

Family Outing

Went for a long walk yesterday with D and A through town. I was busy sniffing and growling, and trying to eat sprinkles that had been dropped on the sidewalk...
when all of a sudden, A picked me up, and in a blur I was inside someplace I had never been...
I looked around and there were cameras, and tripods, and frames, and pictures everywhere. Did you know, they actually have stores... for cameras?!
D was dropping off film to be developed, whatever that means, but she said next time when we go back they would bring some of my pictures to print too!
Can you believe it? Real prints, of my pictures! My art might actually make it to the fridge some day, or even, dare I say, the fireplace mantel? This is very exciting indeed!

We're Off to See the Wizard

Wow, is it wiiiindy! I thought the wind was going to lift me right up off the ground and into the sky like Toto in the Wizard of Oz!
Wooosh wooosh...
The wind was so strong it lifted my camera right up sideways...
Then back at the ranch I tried to take a nap on the couch, but found it difficult with the wind howling so loud outside...
So I just sat and looked out the window watching the trees sway back and forth while I waited for the humans to return...
A didn't return because he's in DC on business, but I was lucky enough to have D here with me all afternoon. During the week, can you believe it? She didn't play with me much because she was working from home, looking through lots and lots of photos on her computer that weren't even my photos (the nerve), but I was happy to have her around, and to get in an extra walk down my yellow brick road!

Heat Wave

So much for the shivering. Today was a beautiful day! I got to go back to the dog park for a really long time and met lots of nice dogs. One even had three legs! I only tried to mount a few of them, I swear.

This is when I saw someone I knew from a distance come in...
I had to go over to say hi...
Then we ran around in circles...
Extreeeme close up!
Later my buddy Baxter came by. He's a rat terrier shitsu mix who can jump over the agility bars even though he has tiny legs. I can jump really high too, but why would I want to jump over those sticks when I can just walk around them?
Brinkley smelled especially good today. As you can tell, I have a thing for white dogs...
And yes, there were humans there too. I took photos of feet (again). The most intriguing part of the humans...
This nice one belonged to Baxter...
I hope the weather stays nice so we can do more fun things outside before it's coat season and the white stuff begins to fall. Enjoy the nice weather my fur-riends!
